Abstract

Diversity can be defined as differences in people based on race, sex, culture, spoken language, perspectives, and experiences. While diversity in the medical field has continued to increase, the gains have not been shared equally across all medical specialties. It is well established that diversity in orthopaedic surgery is far behind other specialties.
