Abstract
. SWST Student Chapters exist to broaden student perspectives in wood science and technology. This is pursued through the organization of various activities, including seminars, site visits, and practical experiences. Over the years, chapters have proven to be bene fi cial to students, fi rst and foremost, and also to faculty advisors and involved institutions.
