espanolFrancia promociono en el periodo de entreguerras un proyecto de unidad europea. Su participacion activa facilito la creacion de la Comision para el Estudio de la Union Europea, la primera organizacion establecida con el objetivo exclusivo de integrar Europa. El objetivo primigenio era la busqueda de un sistema estable que garantizase la paz a partir de premisas confusas con expectativas federales y una realidad cooperacionista. El trabajo de la Comision Europea fue muy activo, generando un alto volumen de documentacion, estudios, propuestas e iniciativas para unir a los europeos EnglishForeign Affairs Minister of France, Aristide Briand, promoted in the interwar period a project for European unity.
