The acute symptom influences the selection of medical techniques and therapy (IBS with diarrhoea, IBS with constipation, or mixed IBS). Current research demonstrates both pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical treatment has a positive impact (in comparison to a placebo) on irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) problems, discomfort relief, and improved health status.
