For this, the critic counts with estudies about oral poetry and he starts to recognize that all poetry has, at least, two voices that connect: the voice of the poetical self and the voice of the singer who performs the song. The voice of the singer embodies of the poetical self, which facilitates the reception of the poetic message, as such practice needs the performance contained in the song. Then, the performance has one of the central ideas of the theorist, just as it as differentiates it from the pure reception and also defines what is a song.
