Abstract

Impact of Crumb Rubber Reinforcement on the Properties of Wood–Plastic Composites Crumb rubber from motor tyres can be usedto reduce the environmental effect of tyre disposal. Libin Babu at North Park University, Chicago, USA, has investigated the potential for using this material in the manufacture of wood plastic composites.
