Abstract

Journalism and journalists play key roles in the cinema of Pedro Almodovar. The director uses the character communicator with superficial presenters in most cases and occasionally precise serious informants. This study analyzes the presence of means of communication or journalists in his last 17 films and affects the prevalence of frivolity and satire before the camera as it is shown four emblematic titles to Ticos: Distant Heels (1991), Kika (1993) Talk to her (2002) and Return (2006).
