The phylogenetic analyses conducted in this study using mitochondrial markers confirm the existence of a new species of Lepidochitona, which was found in northern Peru. Abstract
ABSTRACT Lepidochitona is a genus with a wide distribution in the Atlantic and Pacific oceans.
