El sistema de evaluacion estuvo constituido por cuatro biorreactores de tanque agitado alimentados de la siguiente manera: 0.98 Lt de Medio Minimo de Davies, con petroleo diesel 2 al 5% como fuente de carbono, y como fuente de nitrogeno: urea, Nitrato de sodio, sulfato de amonio y extracto de levadura (control) respectivamente. En todos los casos la relacion C/N fue de 10/100. A cada biorreactor se adiciono 20 mL de inoculo de Pseudomonas sp a una concentracion aproximada de 9x108 cel/mL), y se dejo funcionar a temperatura ambiental 20 +2°C durante 96 horas. Se observo que la mayor produccion de ramnolipidos se obtiene en presencia de Sulfato de amonio como fuente nitrogenada (0.0593 mg%), seguido del Nitrato de sodio (0.04118 mg %). La menor produccion se obtuvo en presencia de Urea (0.0260 mg%). La prueba de analisis de varianza indica que existe diferencia significativa entre la produccion de ramnolipidos en las diferentes fuentes nitrogenadas en comparacion con el extracto de levadura y entre ellas mismas (p=0.000). Se concluye que la fuente nitrogenada afecta la produccion de ramnolipidos por Pseudomonas sp, y que la fuente de nitrogeno ideal para la produccion de ramnolipidos es el sulfato de amonio, seguido del nitrato de sodio.
