Participants believe antimicrobial stewardship and legal disciplinary action against indiscriminate use of antibiotics are the best strategies for countering the spread of antimicrobial resistance. \nConclusions: This study has identified knowledge gaps and misconceptions about antibiotic resistance and prevention.
