Abstract
Neuralgic amyotrophy (NA) is characterized by severe acute pain around the shoulder, followed by upper extremity weakness and muscle atrophy. NA often occurs after triggering events, such as viral or bacterial infection, vaccination, or surgery. Although rare in children, it has been reported in individuals as young as 7 weeks old [1-3].
