No obstante, los datos reflejan una relacion entre ambas variables casi nula en la percepcion de los directivos y medianamente significativa desde la perspectiva de los operativos. EnglishThe purpose of the study is analyze the relationship and influence of the quality of working life on the competitiveness in tourism services companies, particularly in the hotel industry. A quantitative methodology was used applying a questionnaire to contrast the perception of the two variables directed to management and operating personnel of a hotel in the city of Mazatlan, Sinaloa, Mexico, which were selected randomly. The results show similarities in the staff’s perception of the quality of work life and competitiveness.
