Abstract
HISTORY OF POLISH STUDIES AT THE UNIVERSITY IN UNTER DEN LINDEN
This paper presents the history of Slavonic/Polish Studies at the University of Berlin from 1841 until today. The most important scientific achievements of the successive heads of departments are briefly discussed, with particular emphasis on Polish linguistic research at the Humboldt University.
