The selection process requires a relatively long time and accuracy because each file collected by students and prospective students will be compared with each scholarship criterion. These problems can be overcome by building a web-based decision support system to select prospective scholarship recipients. Decision making on the determination of prospective scholarship recipients using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method is done by assigning a weight value to each attribute and proceed with the ranking process to select alternatives. System development is carried out using Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) programming language with the CodeIgniter framework. This study aims to rank the weight value of each attribute that is a requirement in determining scholarships.
