La glucosa (4 mg mL-1) fue un buen conservante para la C-ficoeritrina a 25 y 4 ºC. In addition, Nostoc's C-phycoerythrin showed noteworthy ability for antibacterial and antifungal agents with significant stability up to 10 days. Glucose (4 mg mL-1) was a good preservative for C-phycoerythrin at 25 and 4 ºC.
