New floristic records for the province of Murcia (Spain) 西班牙穆尔西亚省植物区系新记录

Se citan por primera vez siete taxones de flora para las provincias de Almería y Granada (España). Entre los más relevantes, debido a su rareza o singular distribución en el ámbito del sureste ibérico, destacan Ferulago ternatifolia y Teucrium spinosum.Seven new interesting records for the flora of Almería and Granada (Spain) are listed in this paper. Among them, Ferulago ternatifolia and Teucrium spinosum would be the most relevant cited species due to their rarity or their particular distribution areas.

Anatomical and histochemical study of the stem and leaves of Jasminum azoricum L. 茉莉茎叶的解剖学和组织化学研究。

El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo caracterizar la anatomía e histoquímica del tallo y las hojas de Jasminum azoricum L. Para ello, se realizaron preparaciones histológicas semipermanentes que contenían cortes transversales de tallo y hoja, además de cortes paradérmicos de la lámina foliar, analizados por microscopía óptica. También se realizaron pruebas histoquímicas para verificar la ubicación de acumulación de constituyentes químicos en secciones transversales de la hoja. Las caracterizaciones anatómicas aportaron importantes datos para distinguir las especies y el estudio histoquímico reveló los sitios de síntesis y/o almacenamiento de los metabolitos que poseen importantes propiedades medicinales.The present study aimed to characterize the anatomy and histochemistry of the stem and leaves of Jasminum azoricum L. Thus, semi-permanent slides were prepared containing transverse sections of the stem and leaf, in addition to paradermal sections of the leaf blade, analyzed by optical microscopy. Histochemical tests were also carried out in order to verify the site of accumulation of chemical constituents in cross-sections of the leaf blade. The anatomical characterizations allowed the identification of important characteristics to distinguish the species and the histochemistry revealed the sites of synthesis and/or storage of the metabolites. The results found help to identify the species studied and point out possible metabolites that have considerable medicinal properties.

Chorological news for Carex (Cyperaceae) in the Iberian Peninsula 伊比利亚半岛莎草科苔草的合唱新闻

Se presentan diversas notas corológicas del género Carex para la península ibérica, que incluyen novedades provinciales para cuatro especies (C. elata subsp. elata, C. demissa subsp. demissa, C. oedipostyla, C. sylvatica subsp. sylvatica) así como la confirmación provincial (no indicada en Flora iberica) de la presencia de tres taxónes. Proporcionamos asimismo la segunda cita nacional para Portugal de C. reuteriana subsp. mauritanica. Otras tres citas poseen interés corológico al constituir novedades comarcales y/o de sector biogeográfico, o bien segunda cita provincial. Cinco de las novedades revisten interés conservacionista por tratarse de especies o poblaciones amenazadas, incluidas en Listas Rojas y/o protegidas a nivel legal. A new species of Thyrea (Lichinales: Lichinaceae) from the Brazilian central-west region 巴西中西部地区苔草属一新种(苔草目:苔草科)

En el centro-oeste de Brasil, la región de la Serra da Bodoquena comprende bosques ribereños, caducifolios estacionales y semideciduos, donde se conocen unas 400 especies de líquenes. El área está sufriendo los impactos de la agricultura y los incendios intencionales, que amenazan la biodiversidad local. Estudiando los hongos formadores de líquenes de la Serra da Bodoquena a través de análisis integrativos, se describe una nueva especie, Thyrea pulverulenta (Lichinales, Lichinaceae). Además, se generaron secuencias de las regiones nuITS y mtSSU, y se infirió la posición del género dentro de los Lichinomycetes, confirmando su estrecha relación filogenética con Watsoniomyces. También demostramos que la región aún necesita ser estudiada, siendo un posible punto crítico de biodiversidad con especies endémicas.In central-west Brazil, the Serra da Bodoquena region comprises riparian, seasonal deciduous, and semideciduous forests, where ca. 400 lichens species are known. The area is suffering the impacts of agriculture and intentional fires, which threaten the local biodiversity. Studying the lichen-forming fungi from the Serra da Bodoquena through integrative analyses, a new species was discovered, Thyrea pulverulenta (Lichinales, Lichinaceae). In addition, sequences of nuITS and mtSSU regions were generated, and the position of the genus within the Lichinomycetes was inferred, confirming its close phylogenetic relationship with Watsoniomyces. We also demonstrated that the region still needs to be studied, being a possible biodiversity hotspot with endemic species.

Evaluation of Stryphnodendron polyphyllum (Mart.) pollen as antioxidant and antibacterial potential Stryphnodedron polyphyllum(Mart.)花粉抗氧化和抗菌潜力的评价

El polen de Stryphnodendron polyphyllum (Mart.), típicamente conocido como barbatimão, es un problema para los apicultores con apiarios cerca de la planta, debido a toxicidad del polen para las abejas. El objetivo fue evaluar la actividad antioxidante, antibacteriana, determinar fenoles totales y taninos en el extracto etanólico. La actividad antioxidante se evaluó por método DPPH. La actividad antibacteriana se realizó por método de microdilución. Los taninos totales y fenoles se determinaron por método espectrofotométrico. Tuvimos resultados con actividad inhibitoria y bactericida para Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Streptococcus mutans, Streptococcus sobrinus, Streptococcus sanguinis, Streptococcus salivarius y Lactobacillus paracasei. Se determinó EC50 de 7.42mg/mL en la actividad antioxidante. Para compuestos fenólicos y tánicos los resultados comparados con la curva de calibración son 3,12±0,005g/100g de muestra expresados como ácido gálico y 7,3±0,03g/100g de muestra expresados como ácido tánico.Pollen from the Stryphnodendron polyphyllum (Mart.), typically known as barbatimão, is a problem for beekeepers who have apiaries close to the plant, due to pollen toxicity for bees. The objective was to evaluate the antioxidant, antibacterial activity, determine the total phenols and tannins present in the ethanolic extract. Antioxidant activity was evaluated by the DPPH method. Antibacterial activity was performed by the microdilution method.Total tannins and phenols were determined by the spectrophotometric method. We had results with inhibitory and bactericidal activity for Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Streptococcus mutans, Streptococcus sobrinus, Streptococcus sanguinis, Streptococcus salivarius and Lactobacillus paracasei. It was determined EC50 of 7.42mg/mL in the antioxidant activity. For phenolic and tannic compounds the results compared to the calibration curve are 3.12±0.005g/100g of sample expressed as gallic acid and 7.3±0.03g/100g of sample expressed as tannic acid.

The objective was to evaluate the antioxidant, antibacterial activity, determine the total phenols and tannins present in the ethanolic extract. Antioxidant activity was evaluated by the DPPH method. Antibacterial activity was performed by the microdilution method.Total tannins and phenols were determined by the spectrophotometric method. We had results with inhibitory and bactericidal activity for Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Streptococcus mutans, Streptococcus sobrinus, Streptococcus sanguinis, Streptococcus salivarius and Lactobacillus paracasei. It was determined EC50 of 7.42mg/mL in the antioxidant activity. Comparison of two methods to estimate the population density of Ocypode gaudichaudii gaudihaudii种群密度两种估算方法的比较

El estudio compara dos métodos de estimación (i.e., cuadrantes y distancias) de densidad poblacional, en O. gaudichaudii. Se establecieron 13 transectos en la playa “Los Ranchos” y ocho en “Las Bocas”; además, se realizó un censo visual en cada playa. Los análisis se desarrollaron considerando a Los Ranchos como un área y como dos subdivisiones (Los Ranchos-1, 2). Los resultados mostraron que, el muestreo por cuadrantes fue más preciso, en Los Ranchos-2 (6% de sesgo) y Las Bocas (4% de sesgo) mientras que, el muestreo por distancias fue más preciso en la playa Los Ranchos (32% de sesgo) y Los Ranchos-1 (29% de sesgo). En playas con altas densidades (más de 0,5 ind./m2) se debe seleccionar el método por cuadrantes y en playas con bajas densidades (menos de 0,5 ind./m2) se recomienda el método por distancias.The study compares two methods (i.e., quadrants and distances) for estimation of population density in O. gaudichaudii.
