Abstract
is article proposes a characterization of Borges, a writer on the edge. On one hand, in relation to Sarlo’s previous works regarding Borges’s work; and, on the other, given the circumstances that gave rise to the book, which determined a specic problem around the type of readers to whom the text sought to challenge.
