Exploring Parent–Child Conversations about Live Snakes and Spiders: Implications for the Development of Animal Fears

Abstract

Abstract Snakes and spiders commonly elicit fear. However, despite the pervasiveness of these fears in adulthood, little is known about how they develop in early childhood.
