Dois projetos desenvolvidos no concelho de Amares proporcionaram a realizacao de uma experiencia inovadora. Esta experiencia formativa permitiu aos estudantes o aprofundamento dos conhecimentos sobre a economia circular, a construcao de propostas didaticas a serem realizadas com criancas da Educacao Pre-escolar, 1o e 2o Ciclo do Ensino Basico e, dessa forma, a consciencializacao da importância de Educar para a Economia Circular. Educating for the Circular Economy presupposes a conceptual paradigm shift regarding linear economy, recycling and sustainability. The students of teacher trainning master course, as future teachers, may have a multiplier role in raising awareness and implementing these new behaviors. Two projects developed in the municipality of Amares provided an innovative experience. This formative experience allowed students to develop their knowledge about Circular Economy, the construction of didactic activities to be carried out with children from Pre-school Education, 1st and 2nd Cycle of Basic Education and, thus, the consciousness of the importance for circular economy education.
