Educating for the Circular Economy presupposes a conceptual paradigm shift regarding linear economy, recycling and sustainability. The students of teacher trainning master course, as future teachers, may have a multiplier role in raising awareness and implementing these new behaviors. Two projects developed in the municipality of Amares provided an innovative experience. This formative experience allowed students to develop their knowledge about Circular Economy, the construction of didactic activities to be carried out with children from Pre-school Education, 1st and 2nd Cycle of Basic Education and, thus, the consciousness of the importance for circular economy education. Abstract

Educar para a Economia Circular pressupoe uma mudanca de paradigma conceptual relativamente a economia linear, a reciclagem e sustentabilidade. Os estudantes de mestrado de habilitacao para a docencia, enquanto futuros professores, podem ter um papel multiplicador na sensibilizacao e implementacao destes novos comportamentos.
