Construyendo una noción de campesinos con un método

Abstract

This paper deals with the way colombian sociologist Orlando Fals Borda built a notion of colombian peasants as creative and opened to change. It is argued that this idea was made throught method called “Metodo de investigacion por participacion”. That method is analyzed by selecting categories located in fieldnotes done by Fals and it is shown its relationship with communitary cohesion processes and with a plan to extend rural modernization to a national level.
