This special issue includes a series of innovative papers that address that challenge, focused specifically on the vulnerability of Irish landscape systems to climate change and human activity. A series of recommendations are presented that promote the visibility of geomorphology research and teaching and identify opportunities where geomorphologists can contribute to national plans on broad landscape planning and building climate resilience. Abstract
