Abstract
During spin class, the author of this paper thinks into her resistance to letting go of her marriage. She finds herself thinking about a politics of surrender that is not necessarily the opposite of resistance but rather a necessary precondition to a particular quality of resistance that has the potential to lead to a more expansive and inclusive activism.
