We concluded that this could be a safe fertility-sparing option in a selected group of women with stage 1B2 cervical cancer. We found a recurrence rate of 21% (three patients). All these patients had adenocarcinoma, lymphovascular space invasion (LVSI) present and a partial response to NACT. In our cohort in 78% of the women who were eligible fertility preservation was achieved. In this overview we provide an update of the data including an additional number of patients who have received this treatment in the meantime.
