Abstract

Analysis with Iramuteq of the Discourse of the French Presidential Election Campaign 2022 Thematic and Rhetorical Analysis ABSTRACT: We attempt in this research to analyze the presidential campaign of 2022 in France through the study of the forms of expression of each candidate, as well as the themes. This analysis sets itself the objective of explaining the major themes that mark each speaker, of analyzing the debate on the individual markers and the rhetorical procedures deployed. To achieve this, the thematic approach to the analysis of textual data is required. It focuses on describing the themes that mark this electoral corpus and showing the vocabulary specific to each candidate. The interest in this methodological process is determined by the desire to study the relevance of political projects and linguistic phenomena. RÉSUMÉ : Le discours de campagne est un rituel politique incontournable. Il s’agit d’une typologie de discours qui relate les principaux projets et un univers discursif qui fait surgir les formules et les phrases qui caractérisent chaque candidat.  La présente recherche tente d’appréhender et d’interpréter le sens de ce discours, les modalités et les thématiques qui structurent le discours électoral des présidentielles de 2022 en France à travers un traitement lexicométrique. La présente analyse se fixe comme objectif de repérer et d’analyser le vocabulaire de chaque candidat, ainsi que les processus rhétoriques déployés.
