Abstract

The duplex treatment combining the salt bath nitrocarburizing with post-oxidation technique provides an excellent technique for achieving improved hardness, wear and corrosion resistance of the surface of various steels. Arcor® is a merger of Sursulf and a post-oxidation process (Oxynit).
