Abstract
Abstract Mastogloia frickei Hustedt was found in Guam and studied with scanning electron microscopy. A species known by that name in Florida/Bahamas is shown to be a different species and is described as Mastogloia floridensis sp. nov. Both have alveolate striae, which is unusual in the genus.
