Abstract
Using the framework of a theologically-informed commentary on the Christian Scriptures, this essay will explore the Pauline concept of hope as well as the imagery of the lamb’s war. With a narrative approach, themes of eschatology will also inform the Quaker understanding of the Lamb’s war as a central metaphor in the ecclesial movement.
