E-commerce of grocery goods is increasing and knowledge about what is needed to secure the quality of highly perishable products through e-commerce channels is lacking. This involves knowledge into several disciplines. Thus, a cross-disciplinary search through 35 databases was conducted that revealed 2575 articles using different search words relevant for the diverse disciplines in combination with e-commerce.
