Kendaraan bermotor menghasilkan emisi CO2 yang berpengaruh buruk terhadap lingkungan dan kesehatan, maka dari itu wilayah ini memerlukan RTH yang seimbang dengan banyaknya jumlah kendaraan bermotor. Tujuan dari penelitian skripsi ini yaitu menganalisis jumlah emisi CO2 yang dihasilkan kendaraan bermotor, mendata dan menghitung serta menganalisis kemampuan vegetasi pada RTH area Kantor Gubernur Kalimantan Barat dalam menyerap emisi CO2 yang dihasilkan kendaraan bermotor. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi dan analisis. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, didapatkan bahwa jumlah emisi CO2 yang dihasilkan dari kendaraan bermotor di area tersebut sebesar 3,298 ton/tahun dengan jumlah kendaraan sebanyak 306.800 unit/tahun dan total daya serap vegetasi terhadap CO2 sebesar 938,416 ton/unit. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa vegetasi pada RTH area Kantor Gubernur Kalimantan Barat mampu menyerap emisi CO2 yang dihasilkan kendaraan bermotor dengan jumlah CO2 yang masih dapat terserap mencapai 936,317 ton/tahun. Motorized vehicles produce CO2 emissions that adversely affect the environment and health, therefore this area requires green open space that is balanced with the large number of motorized vehicles. The purpose of this thesis research is to analyze the amount of CO2 emissions from motor vehicles, record and calculate and analyze the ability of vegetation in the green open space area of the Governor's Office of West Kalimantan to absorb CO2 emissions produced by motorized vehicles. This study uses observation and analysis methods. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that the amount of CO2 emissions produced from motor vehicles in the area was 3,298 tons/year with the number of vehicles as much as 306,800 units/year and the total absorption capacity of vegetation to CO2 was 938,416 tons/unit.
