The aim of this research is to analyze the lexical availability of students and academics of an English pedagogy program at a regional university. This research has a mixed-method approach, and data was collected by applying a lexical availability test made of 8 centers of interest to a sample of 350 students and 25 professors. The results were analyzed through a qualitative and quantitative perspective, including inferential statistics in order to determine whether there was any relationship between the the variable years of education and the students and academics’ lexical availability.
