Our results indicate that a considerable part of the participating school psychologists experience high work demands and have trouble finding work–life balance. In general, however, school psychologists in Sweden experience high work engagement. The results also indicate that school psychologists in Sweden experience a lack of role clarity in their professional role. Abstract
ABSTRACT In the present study, we respond to recent calls to investigate work-related circumstances of school psychologists. While we realize that most learning takes place between ages 0 and 21, IJSEP also focuses on adult learning, special education services with individuals of all ages, and learning and schooling across the life-span.
