Abstract

Youtube videos about musical dissemination are already part of the resources implemented by music education teachers, regardless on the stage in which they work. This article considers the level of usage of youtuber Jaime Altozano’s channel analysing through an ad hoc questionnaire of 409 primary and secondary music teachers. The results show how a high percentage of teachers endorse the use of these resources in their sessions, also perceiving a high interest in developing certain of music didactics (music theory, soundtracks, etc.) through this platform. In this sense, the need arises to generate pedagogical models that facilitate the integration of these videos in future didactic sequences.
