Abstract

Since higher education research has emerged from pedagogy, many studies have long failed to place higher education within the education system. In a multidisciplinary perspective, higher education issues are more often seen as social issues shared by disciplines than purely educational issues. Due to the lack of pedagogical perspectives, higher education studies are not well-known, and higher education research has become a broad multidisciplinary field with no roots.
