Methodology: descriptive correlational. Objectives: Describe and analyze the main care of themselves, knowledge attitudes and practices of nurses in training, on self-care against cervical cancer. The data analysis was performed with Pearson correlation, coefficients of determination and odds ratio. Results and conclusions: Determination of deficient behaviors, of beliefs and practices of prevention, need to modify the cognitive frameworks for the understanding of the neoplasm, risk factors and implications in the state of health.
