Abstract
We report the amblyseiine genera Paraphytoseius and Paraarnblyseius from Australia for the first time based on collections from subtropical to tropical rainforests, and provide diagnoses for both genera. Paraphytoseius hilli sp.n. is described from Queensland, P. seychellensis Schicha and Corpuz‐Raros is reported from numerous collections in Queensland and both sexes are described in terms of currently used setal designations. Paruurnblyseius dinghuensis (Wu and Qian) is reported from New South Wales and Queensland. A key to the world species of Paraphytoseius is presented.
