Abstract
In the works of Sicilian writers it is easy to notice the transformation of the island into a sort of a big stage with moving characters that become authentic actors who, in the same stage, perform the most disparate roles. The sign of the simulation thus connotes the interweaving of the stories of De Roberto, Tomasi, Consolo, and many others.
