Using qualitative methods, data were collected from field notes, focus groups and document analysis. For data analysis, it was used thematic analysis. To ensure validity and trustworthiness, there were data triangulation. Knowledge was built using critical, collective, collaborative, and democratic way, in which autonomy and horizontality were confirmed, resulting in awareness and social transformations in those involved into the experience. Abstract

ABSTRACT Practice and reflection are known as dialectical in Freire’s pedagogy, surrounded by policity and dialogicity of pedagogy in different contexts, such as higher education.
