Abstract
Drawing upon the articulation of two recently published works in Brazil: A estetizacao do mundo (Le esthetisation du Monde) by Gilles Lipovetsky and Jean Serroy (2015) and O circuito dos afetos, by Vladimir Safatle (2015), this paper aims to rise a discussion about what types of corporeities are being arranged accordingly to the major Neoliberal Political and Economic current demands. Therefore, we try to develop one specific problem: how our very capacity of uncanniness has been organized in this system?

The journal Comunicação, Mídia e Consumo – Communication, Media and Consumption – is published in printed and digital versions by the Programa de Pós-Graduação em Comunicação e Práticas de Consumo da ESPM-SP – Postgraduate Programme in Communication and Consumption Practices of ESPM-SP – Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing – Superior School of Propaganda and Marketing and it is evaluated as Qualis A2; its editorial line is to approach relevant topics of the field of Communication, understood here as a complex socio-cultural process and practice.
