Abstract

The article attempts to answer the question: “How has the experience of the SARS-CoV-2 virus pandemic and the COVID-19 disease it causes contributed to shaping the Coronavirus Generation among adolescents?” Based on the review of the results of research on academic youth and young adults, which were carried out during the pandemic period, published in selected scientific articles, reports and internet sources, a description of changes taking place in various areas of their lives (such as: interpersonal relations, internal life, development personal, professional career, education, health, housing and material situation) and outlined the expected features that could define the representatives of the new generation. Although the collected data do not justify drawing an unambiguous conclusion about the existence of the Coronavirus Generation (it will be possible to do so in the longer term), they indicate that the time of the pandemic contributed to significant modifications in many spheres of the existence of young people, which will probably not remain insignificant for their future.
