Abstract

This paper describes the situation of commercial sexual exploitation that children and adolescents living in the Historic Center and the Rodadero in the city of Santa Marta, analyzing demand and supply in the market, taking into account the interaction of actors :, issue the operator, the exploited, the consumer, the main public policy makers and formal tourism represents, and their participation in the dynamics of this unwanted market; which it has become a scourge of society samaria, tourism and environment. In this document the profile of the potential demand which will offer such services and studies about the participation of different actors in the development of this market through surveys and interviews were established which reflect the demand has a key role in the development of this market and public administration in the prevention and mitigation of this phenomenon is insufficient, also suggests that the discouragement of serious demand then the main objective of public policy and commitment to citizenship.
