Vliv členství v Klastru Mechatronika na finanční výkonnost podnikatelských subjektů

Abstract

This paper addresses the impact which could have the membership of some enterprises in an institutionalized cluster on their financial performance. The research file consists of founding enterprises from the Mechatronic Cluster. This cluster was established as a result of a cluster initiative in 2011. Enterprises that create the core of the cluster do business in industries with the following statistical classifications: CZ-NACE 251100, 256000 and 332000. As criteria for assessing financial performance the indicator EVA was used. For the assessment of financial performance the DEA method is applied with two inputs and one output. The aim of the research was to verify the statement that business entities’ membership in the cluster organisation translates into improved financial performance in a time series.
