Abstract
The article characterizes the similarities of the semantic fields “alcohol use” and describes their differences on the example of lexical paradigms like “drinking alcohol in large quantities for a long time (binge drinking)”, “physical and psychological destruction as a result of drinking alcohol (become an inveterate drunkard)” and “hangover” in Russian and Italian.
