Abstract
The aim of the work is to estimate the frequency of droughts during 1961-2020 in the conditions of southern Ukraine using the standardized precipitation index (SPI) and to compare the obtained results with the frequency of droughts according to Selyaninov’s hydrothermal coefficient (HTС).
