Abstract

Broadband Digital Beam Forming (DBF) is a key technique for the realization of Digital Array Radar (DAR). We propose the method of combination realization of the channel equalization and DBF time delay filter function by using the adaptive sample matrix inversion algorithm. The broadband DBF function is realized on a new DBF module based on parallel fiber optic engines and Field Program Gate Array (FPGA). When used in some radar products, good performance is achieved.
