Despite the very limited data on IASTM, which has just begun to increase in use in frozen shoulder, IASTM seems promising for ROM increase. Abstract

The aim of this review was to investigate studies using Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), to determine the effects of IASTM on shoulder mobility in frozen shoulder. Literature search was carried out on 21 March 2022 using PUBMED, Pedro, SCOPUS, Web of Science and Scholar databases.
