"Seguridad para estudiar, libertad para vivir": Una aproximación histórica al movimiento secundario chileno en Dictadura a partir de la experiencia del Liceo de Aplicación

Abstract

This article aims to study and understand the action of the military dictatorship in the educational field and its attempts to hegemonize, ideologically and factually, the goals and means of secondary education. It also explores the counter-hegemonic responses that such action produced in the student body. To do this, the formation, consolidation and decay of the secondary movement opposed to the Dictatorship is investigated during the 1980s, illustrating this process from an emblematic case, that of the Movimiento Aplicacionista por la Democracia (MAD).
