Abstract
The article analyze the uses of Antonio Gramsci's thinking between young Catalan and Argentine communists between 1950 and 1975. These young university students maintained conflicting links with the veteran political-cultural leadership of the Argentine Communist Party and the Unified Socialist Party of Catalunya.
