Abstract
The paper contains 63 common Berber zoonyms denoting domesticated and wild animals and their cognates in various branches of the Afrasian (Afro-Asiatic, Afroasiatic, Semito–Hamitic) macro–family including reconstructed proto-forms for each branch and the macro-family.
