Abstract

This paper presents an analysis of the SRG operating in self-excited mode, with Half Bridge converter and a parallel capacitor. The simulations are performed based on a nonlinear model considering the effect of magnetic saturation, the model equations are described on this paper. The model allows static simulations to build the inductance, flux and torque profiles, as well as the dynamic simulations. Analyses about the effect of rotor speed and triggers angles over a resistive load are realized.
