Abstract

The influence of polymercaluminum ferric chloride on activated sludge system was researched by bench-scale experiment.PAFC was dropped into activated sludge system,the influence laws of dehydrogen activity (DHA)、sludge volume index(SVI) and CODCr were analysed.The results show:60mg•L-1 was optimal concentration of PAFC,DHA was increased obviously,SVI was reduced obviously,and concentration of CODCr was decreased obviously.This study clearly indicated:If the proper concentration of PAFC was dorpped into,biological activity of activated sludge system would be heightened, settlement performance be improved,removal of CODCr be increased.
